Three Boys, One Dream: GAUTEBMX Rides from Limpopo to Cape Town

From the small town of Burgersfort in Limpopo, three brave boys — known as GAUTEBMX — have set out on a remarkable 1,700-kilometer journey to Cape Town, armed with nothing but their BMX bikes, a dream, and unshakable determination.

Their ride has captured hearts across the country, sparking a wave of support from communities, fellow cyclists, and sponsors who believe in their mission. Along the way, they’ve inspired countless young people to chase their dreams — no matter how impossible they may seem.

The road hasn’t been easy. One of the riders has sustained an injury, forcing them to pause and recover — but true to their spirit, the trio will continue their journey tomorrow, undeterred and even more united.
